OniX is a Twin Stick shooter arcade scorer with a twist! Every direction you walk you will be turning on and off modes by accident! BigMode? ZombieMode?Exploding Corpse Mode?! And More.
Score big by taking on the local Tengu gang. Scoring is always easier with friends, recruit civilians to join your cause. Yelp for Help and your small army will assemble on you to help fight off the angry city.
Be the Best Oni Clan! Put your scores onto the online leaderboard to see if you make it in the Top 5! Share your highest scores in the comments, can you beat the dev? [score 247 at this time as MattyC]
Game Controller or Keyboard Mouse Support. You can even hotswap mid battle if your controller happens to die!

Made in Game Maker Studio 2, art done in Aseprite, sounds made in BFXR, music in HugeTracker. To speed up dev also used JuJuAdams' Input, GM Scoreboard, PixelPopes Camera stuff

Thank you for downloading my game! To play, unzip OniX.zip and run OniX.exe
Use either Keyboard+Mouse or Game Controller for twin stick shooter action. Button prompts will always be displayed on screen.

cool game, how many days did it take to make ?
I cant quite remember, but a little over a week? But that's round kids and work, so its hard to measure.
